Mirage is a Legacy of Beauty
Operating continuously since 1988, the salon in the grey house on 80th Street grew up with the city of Redmond. Now surrounded by multistory apartment buildings and walking distance from our historic downtown and Redmond Town Center, Mirage is easy for new residents to discover. There’s a constant flow of walk-ins and clients looking for all kinds of beauty services.
Owner, Laura Rux-Benishek, joined Mirage fresh out of school and bought the business when her mentor retired. Supporting her family for 30 years, Laura understands the juggling act required to be a successful hairstylist and business owner. That’s why it’s her mission to create a workspace for beauty professionals that provides a sense of community, teamwork, and affordable independence.
Salon suites are the most recent upgrade to our business. Converting half our open chairs into salon suite rentals in 2021 allowed our salon and spa renters to stay safe and available to serve clients amidst a global pandemic and ever-changing state regulations.

Each suite is bathed in natural light from its own skylight and sliding glass barn door. Suites are simply appointed – easy to personalize and stay organized – the perfect fit for your work and decor.
Open chair stations are generously spaced throughout two different salon areas with easy access to shared amenities and plenty of natural light.
Community shampoo bowls, towels, back bar, dryer chairs, storage space, and a separate room for mixing color keep everything neat in your workspace. Electricity, water, trash, laundry equipment, parking, and WiFi are all included in your rent.
You receive front desk and marketing support when renting a salon suite or open chair. Your business is featured on our website with links to your preferred contact method, booking service, and social media. New client inquiries to our general salon phone number are shared with providers based on service requested and provider availability.
